This policy explains how Bazaar IQ, a product of CodeSpark Infotech Private Limited (“we”, “us”), handles your information when you use our website (https://bazaar-iq.com) and app (https://app.bazaar-iq.com). We keep this simple: we collect what we need to run your shop's software, and nothing we don't.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details — your name, business name, mobile number and login credentials.
  • Business data you enter — products, prices, bills, customers, khata balances, stock, purchases and expenses.
  • Payment information — when you subscribe, payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card or bank details; we keep a record of the transaction and subscription status.
  • Usage & device data — basic logs (e.g. IP address, actions, timestamps) needed to operate, secure and improve the Service.

2. How we use it

  • To provide and operate the Service — billing, khata, inventory, GST invoices and reports.
  • To process subscriptions and payments, and to send you related notices.
  • To secure the Service, prevent misuse, and provide support.
  • To improve features and reliability.

3. Services we rely on

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers who help us run the Service:

  • Razorpay — to process payments and subscriptions.
  • Zoho Books — only if you connect it, to sync your sales, purchases and expenses to your own Zoho account.
  • Hosting & infrastructure providers — to run the servers and store data securely.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

4. Storage & security

Your data is stored on secured servers. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and other safeguards. Sensitive credentials and tokens are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After you close your account, we retain data only as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

You can access and update most of your information from within the app. To request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion of your account, write to us athello@bazaar-iq.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

7. Cookies

The app uses essential local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. The marketing website uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic. We do not use invasive tracking.

8. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
